Review of Facebook

Facebook is a popular website everybody know this and according to statistics reported in Web Pro News from Marketing Circle shows figures of growth have froze since the launch of Google +. Google + is good but its not as social networking tool yet for mainstream business. Why and where you can start relearning and reminding you and your colleagues the new important applications you need on Facebook to get more traffic via mobile phones, add Intel to the local interest, or simply reach out and help your fellow contacts who share a basic interest of Facebook marketing and who have a Blackberry or some other smart phone, pom pilot device.

First I would like to share today’s news, about the observations from three different sources that give reason to remind, reevaluate and optional extras to play around with to make The Facebook Page a more resourceful tool for contacting customers, local events, focus groups, Blogger readers via RSS, e-mail, mobile or cloud computing. The options vary depending on the software available to you. The good news is the applications mentioned here are hot right now, and I will share with you how you can find out what is hot right now with Facebook applications.

API is something that is keeping people busy, stalling businesses from playing with previous applications that in many instances have more practical options than the actual pages. Any web page generally as blogger we know the page or space you wish to funnel traffic and readers is based on a web page, most critiques of Facebook pages will be skeptical about a Facebook Fan page or Facebook community page without a website link. The reality is with Apps know the Facebook page has everything you need, but without for example a landing page built in the code of allowing the like button to be pressed has been the focus for the year, this is becoming more popular as I explain the update of the like button posts on top of the original like of page.

I have been meaning to make a re-review of Facebook for two weeks but have had limited access to the Internet. There was a post two or more weeks ago in a category I and many others read about in the category of Search Engine Optimization it may have been SEO moz I cannot remember but basically it was a post from a fan of Facebook, who used a blog and his blog traffic was 98% SEO optimised through Facebook applications that he had used on Pages and blog to rank well on a local level of marketing.

There are about on average three or more webinars that I get invited to attend and learn a week about Facebook, I am sure the same is coming into everyone else who frequent Facebook in the marketing niche. Mobile marketing 90% of the time restricts the ability to attend these webinars and recordings, but apps are being developed to accept things like Adobe Flash presentations and movies playing on the phone, for now though due to restrictions in Battery life and the price of mobile bandwidth outside of the wireless connections you have at home or down the Internet coffee shop.

The statistics and quantative data I provide is by know means accurate but the Facebook options available as simple as they may look are actually more than enough to instill confidence in marketers and local small businesses to continue using for business purposes, regardless of the current effects.

Many offline businesses understand the predictive two year estimates of projected continual efforts online in generating more business, having the time can cost money, spending can add confusion to the dedication of this business with the gadgetry online because of outsourcing and online delegating of jobs, but in the beginning it took understanding, but in all my experience and omissions we are still only at the beginning of this transition, any fan of social media may sigh, but at the same time there are ten people who are just starting out sending there first e-mail, or have just upgraded from mobile phone to smart phone.

Firstly let me reccomend a website that you may or may not already use or have bookmarked for checking in on current hot apps for Facebook or apps that were one you use but are beginning to wane in popularity, possibly due to drops in popularity often based on useability or floods of people. The website is called

http://apps.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=190322544333196&sk=app_179155722150113

I found this website in AllFacebook.com which states is an unnofficial Facebook information portal. They list popular applications to add onto your Facebook pages or intergrate into your blogs.

If you are a developer you will be able to get some ideas of what you really need to cover to reach the masses and give them something interesting to use your developed application. What seems to be overlooked about Facebook is the synnergy it offers, and the intel they provide, as marketers you will already understand the ability to make advertisements and sell or advertise there, or perhaps you are spending more time over on Google + because you enjoy not having advertisements put before you.

If this is so, I hate to burst your ad free bubble but the Google + account requires a Gmail account, and this is where you receive the majority of targeted adds based on the e-mails you receive. Also advertising with Google rather than Facebook is becoming way more exclusive, the predictions these past few months have been that small businesses ie anyone with an advertising budget of less than perhaps $10,000 per month may have to find alternative methods.

Advertising effectively has or was based on obtaining likes to Facebook pages, as far as getting eyeballs to information and creating a list of people to can share info, intel and make happy through content has come at a cost, with a more user friendly method of communicating with Facebook users given they know which page to read, or the group they are in to guide them in the progression of business, marketing is becoming offline more popular. You see a marketing firm opening up in most business hubs of towns and cities, but the actual money and intel raised has to be the online buzz of marketing seminars, webinars, blogs, tweets, mobile pings and other manner of things.

In conclusion I will add a few links one of which is just a bit of personal fun that takes a few seconds to like and see the Flash effects therefore limiting the post to you computer readers rather than the mobile hand held readers. Secondly a post again to a Facebook application that is hot right now in the public (remember the source of this information is above in the AllFacebook link, and thirdly I send you to a shameless plug of a Facebook page made a few months ago that not a single person has liked becuase I have neither shared it, nor paid for adevertising for likes there.

If I did advertise too, I am not limited to Facebook advertising, I could possibly outsource a few likes of Fivver.com or other outsourcing sites.

Finally in relation to the 90% SEO from two weeks back read on DMoz I would contest this and say blogging with WordPress or any other regular updated blog mechanism is much better and I know this is biased since I a blogger but much more fun, if you agree hit the like button somewhere.

That reminds me don’t forget to hit the like button on the post of the Facebook page you have already liked I am sure to owner of the business will really like that too, its just a shame that videos and images did not alt and load as quick as possible, but compared to the limitations of Classifieds with the limiting of HTML Facebook’s XTML is absolutely fine.

Finally if you are reading this from the APsense Microsoft page the code there for blogs is good too, but again I cannot give enough praise to being lucky enough to attempt good textual content, alt imaging and good old keyword research, long live the longtail and good luck with Facebook and Google +, not forgetting my buddies on Ning pages, have a great weekend and thanks for frequenting Robert-Bridge.mobi.

Hey There Robertbridge, Thanks for your thoughts, Appaholic does not make any secret that it wants to be the Alexa of the Facebook application community, and while it won't win any artistic awards it certainly delivers what it says. Jesse Farmer developed the site where visitors can compare user bases among Facebook applications. He keeps the twenty applications with the most users on the front page. The site allows for a quick comparison of up to three applications by number of users, percentage change, and number of users per hour. He has also recently added a feature called the "Viral Dashboard." The dashboard puts every application in the Facebook directory into a sortable table, along with a link to the application's primary page. I see that "What's your stripper name?" finally got knocked out of the top spot after several days of amazing growth by none other than Harry Potter Magic Spells . I doubt I am alone in spending more time than a human should browsing the pages everyday to see who is getting contagious and who is not, but then again I write a blog about contagious applications. I look forward to your next post
